Products Liability/Personal InjuryGravel and Shea has successfully prosecuted and defended major products liability cases. As Plaintiffs' counsel, this group has obtained some of the highest awards in Vermont for catastrophically injured clients. This group has attained success against elite defense counsel from both in and outside Vermont in cases concerning, for example, tire inflators with explosive tendencies, defective machine design, and toxic chemicals. Gravel and Shea has also obtained significant personal injury awards as Plaintiffs' counsel in cases that address a full range of negligent conduct, including automobile operation, premises liability, and medical malpractice. As in other areas, it is a testament to the high regard in which Gravel and Shea is held by its peers that, in addition to its work for Plaintiffs, it is regularly asked to defend products liability and personal injury cases by large national self-insured interests.
