Alternative Dispute ResolutionAs a product of their success as trial counsel for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, lawyers in the litigation department at Gravel and Shea are often called upon to serve as mediators or arbitrators in matters pending in both state and federal courts. Mr. Hemley is a member of the federal panel of Early Neutral Evaluators and is Chair of the United States District Court committee that adopted early neutral evaluation as a mandatory process in Vermont. He has also served on numerous uninsured motorist arbitration panels, often as the neutral, and has served as the sole arbitrator as well.
