Bob O'Neill was admitted to the bar in 1977 in the District of Columbia. After serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C., he accepted a position with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Vermont in 1984. He joined the firm in 1987. He also is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Claims Court.

Bob and his family are experienced boaters. He and his wife enjoy traveling. They have two adult children and live in Hinesburg, Vermont.
