Gravel & Shea Successfully Defends Fortune 500 Client

Heather Rider Hammond and David A. Boyd obtained summary judgment in favor of a Fortune 500 company completely resolving a series of claims arising out of a loan agreement.  After reviewing competing motions for summary judgment, the Court granted the motion filed by Gravel & Shea in its entirety and dismissed with prejudice all of the claims against Gravel & Shea’s client.  A copy of the opinion can be found here.

Gravel & Shea PC Assists Caledonian Record in Obtaining Access to Recordings of Police Chase and Shooting

The Caledonian Record requested access to recordings of a police chase and subsequent shooting.  The alleged criminal defendant resisted production of the recordings.  Matthew B. Byrne argued for access to a police video taken of a police chase and shooting of a suspect.  After Gravel & Shea PC intervened on behalf of the newspaper, the defendant withdrew any objection he had to the release of the video recordings.  The video recordings have now been posted on the newspaper’s web page.
